I'll bet most of you don't even know that this web site exists. The Web Archive makes snapshots of web sites and saves them. Every since 1996, this site has been archiving the web as an historical archive.
Want to see what IBM looked like in 1998? Go to http://www.archive.org/web/web.php and enter www.ibm.com and you can see it.
